My latest Netflix binge of 'TV Shows I Never Watched' was The Office, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I expect that most viewers, as I did, recognized a few of their co-workers in the characters. The US version of The Office first aired March 24, 2005, on NBC, which considering some of the humour, is a surprise to me, although I guess things were a bit loser 16 years ago. The US version of the show is a take of the British version that was created, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. Hopefully Netflix will air the British version so I can compare the two, although my British friends assure me that 'their' version is much better. The final season is incredible and thankfully, the series has a proper ending. Something 'Andy' said in the final episode struck me: "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days, before you've actually left them." How true. Steve Carell stars as Michael Scott, Ed Helms as Andy Bernard, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, Joh
